Exclamation Attention Please Read

Enough is enough. The 6.4 pissing contests are really getting old and we are getting tired of baby-sitting the 6.4 sections. Face the facts ladies and gentlemen, THERE ARE GOING TO BE OTHER TUNERS OUT THERE BESIDES SPARTAN AND SCT FOR THE 6.4!!!!


Not everyone can afford top of the line, nor does everyone want top of the line. It's really no secret who came out first with 6.4 "working" custom tuning, who was the first to break 500HP, 600HP, or 700HP for that matter. Its not a secret who was the first in the 11s and its no secret who's tuning isn't breaking trannies.

We are losing new members everyday to the constant childish agruments and internet tough guy antics about 6.4s. So this is how it is going to go..............unless a member comes on here and wants to know who is the best, I don't want to see any other member knocking what the newbie is asking and telling him to go Spartan or SCT. If the newbie wants info on Superchips, Banks, Edge, or whatever else, please feel free to tell him any comments about his question positive or negative

Example.....

Newbie: What do you guys think about the Brand X tuner?

Member: It makes decent power, but doesn't tune the tranny, you really need to tune the tranny with anything above 75HP over stock

Newbie: Oh I didn't know that, just saw the articles in a mag.

Member: No problem bud

I will accept this....

Newbie: Ok, since I need to tune the tranny can anyone recommend a tuner?

If newbie wants to know and doesn't know by now, then please feel free to tell him/her, but do NOT turn it into a mine is bigger, no mine is bigger....oh yeah well my dad can beat up your dad. ONLY WARNING!


VENDORS:

It might come as a surprise that there are going to be multiple vendors selling the same/similar parts that you have I do not want to see a vendor posting about their products in another vendors threads trying to stir the pot, positive comments are fine, but if you know better then just don't do it. I also do not want to see any "stealing" of customers or smartazz comments towards each other. YOU WILL BE BANNED! Continue violation will result with contacting of Admin, removing your vendor status and permanet ban. Enough is enough

So what your saying is, we can't tell them that a generic product (Superchip, Edge, Bully Dog, etc.) is not going to be good for their truck, and refer them to one that will be good to run on their truck? To me it sounds like we are being helpful by getting them away from these canned generic tuners and pushing Spartan and SCT on them. Maybe I am wrong in what I do, but I want to just clear that up with you. I am not about to start sayinig that generic tuners are ok to run to a newbie that has no clue what he is buying. I have ran a Superchip and I have ran a DiabloSport on my 08, I know the effects they have.

He's not saying you cant do it. Whats he's saying is not to be an a$$ about it like some have been known to do.

If you want to do it thats fine. But be respectful about it.

Example if a member specifically states he does not want Spartan or SCT. DO NOT try to force it on them or bash them because they dont want your tuner of choice
