Traction problems...any fixes?

I went to the drags this past saturday to see what she would run with the spartan on there and couldn't ever get traction thus never got a good full pull. The first run of the night I just did a 2x4 launch just to see what would happen and spun out on the line and didn't go anywhere so I got off of it, then eased into it again and when I laided back into it, started spinnin and I spun all the way til 70 mph. The best time I got was a 14.01 1/4 mile, it was the last run of the night and the fastest, launched in 4x4 at 2200. Even with a 4X4 launch and everything I was still spinnin all four tires through the ladder and 60 ft. Launched around 10 times at different RPMs ranging from 1700-2200. I've got 33" toyo mt's on 20x10 rims so there's plenty of rubber on the ground. I even tried smokin the tires in the water and without water. Im up for suggestions. I'm thinkin either put some concrete sacks in the bed next time? Ladder bars? Drag slicks? Any feedback is awesome.

without a lift even? where can i get them and what would they cost?

about the traction bars...I can get the tires easy. I own a tire shop

Yes, you can get traction bars without a lift. OUO is a company. Just look them up on google and find the best prices. You could also PM DC Special on here. He can tell you just about anything you need to know

To me your biggest problem is your tires the toyo m/t have never been a good drag race tire. The traction bars will help but your biggest problem is your tires and that is what i would adress first and will help the most. What were your 60' times as that will help and what psi were your tires set at?

I let my tires down from 50 to 25 psi. My 60' times aren't that bad tho...Idk what the deal is. my 60' on my 14.01 run was 1.8. I've got my old set of nitto terra grapplers, would they be better, 2 are nearly slick and 2 aren't that bad.
