Are the block off plates intended just for certain tunes, eg. "race" tunes, or all tunes can be run w/ plates in place? ie., 210 and lower etc.?

You have to get your tunes made for the block off plates. They will throw a code on all tunes but the 310 because that tune is set up for the removal of the EGR system. They cannot be run on a tune that does not disable the EGR period. The EGR valve disabled tunes can be used with them, but there is a big chance there will be a code.

Thanks Jeff. Always wondered about that. If they can make the 310 so it doesn't throw a code @ all, couldn't the other made egr plate tunes include the same as not to throw a code? The intent is to totally disable egr valve if the plates are installed right? Also is it true that the race tunes (less 310) cycle the valve once @ startup even they're disabled, would that explain the code if it's thrown, and why one can't run plates unless tune is specifically made. Sorry this is scattered all over the place, trying to watch yhe series as I type this
