Ball/Socket 4" Downpipe Install Pictures/Videos

We completed the downpipe install in our regular cab today. Installation was not bad and took approx 1 hour. We have plenty of pictures and even a before and after video clip to see if there was any sound difference. It is much more responsive and turbo spool up is quicker. EGTs seem to be down a tad which is always a good thing. The highest EGT I saw at WOT was about 1670 where as I usually see mid 1700's easily. We have plenty in stock, even a few ceramic coated.

I just got back from a truck show in northern VT near the Canadian boarder with that downpipe install. The only changes since the last long trip was an update 310 Spartan tune and my downpipe. This trip was no trailer so I can compare fuel mileage, but spool up and throttle response is improved. Noise level in the cab seems unchanged, noise level outside has slightly more whistle(running new DP, 5" CAT/DPF delete and Magnaflow 5" no muffler). Hope this helps if anyone has questions. DP's are shipping now so contact Aaron or myself if your interested.

You should drive directly to the nearest dyno and see what this DP is worth on the rollers!

I wouldn't thing it would help mileage in big numbers like the tuner with CAT/DPF off, but it stands to reason any improvements in airflow in or out of an engine would make some improvement. I think the gains would be small.

I down have a good before dyno run, so it would be hard to compare. Maybe Aaron could do that on one of his trucks if has a good baseline before run.
