When I ordered my Spartan from a 3rd party vendor I sent all my info directly to Spartan including the Vendor name and invoice number. But you will probably be ok with the way you did it. I'm sure Rudy will take care of getting the info to Spartan.

You are suppose to get a user name and password of the web site. After that you have to edit/update your profile and enter all the info about your truck. Then go to tune request and request your tunes, then submit at the bottom of the page. Remember, they will not start working on your tunes till everything has been completed to include the disclaimer....

I was in the same boat. I e-mailed my vendor for the invoice number to give to Spartan.

There ya go Jeff. Listen to Mick. He is the Spartan guru on the .org. He's given me boatloads of great information, as well as assisting in getting me set up on Spartans website.

see thats the thing i got on the spartan website and it wont let me make a damn user name and password...so i figured i had to email my vendor the user name and password i wanted with my other info ..or do i need to email spartan to tell them what user name and password i want,,,or am i just doing it wrong on there website haha

That's because the vendor that you purchased it from didn't do what he should have done... You could have already set up everything on the web site if he requested a user name and a password for you the day he sold you the tuner!!!!!!
When he sold you the unit, he should have gotten a user name and a password that you wanted to use. With that info, your name, email address and DashDAQ serial number all he has to do is send it to Spartan, requesting the info for you to log in. Spartan then sends you an email with instructions on what you need to do and process is then completed!!!!!!!!!!!! Last edited by mick1955; 07-30-2009 at 08:18 PM. |

Send me an email with you DashDAQ serial #, name first/last, user name requested, and password to:
techsupport@spartandieseltech.com I'll forward it to Donna. At least that way you won't be waiting to get set up on the web site. Hopefully he already did this, but who knows....... |
