If you tamper with the stock DPF-back exhaust, you won't have it available for warranty work if you need it. The tip on those things is a major deal when it comes to warranty work. Just a heads up

The tip is a huge deal on a DPF equipped truck. It acts as a heat exchanger of sorts. If thats gone with warranty work you most likely will be voided

Everyone is right about the tip and don't worry about a better flow muffler, the stocker is a straight thru design already

It depends on the dealer... if you have an after market DPF back exhaust like any of the major companies... Magnaflow, MBRP... they all have the heat vent tip. Legally ford cannot void your warranty for that. If you tamper with the DPF/CAT they can.

But as said before some have nice dealers some lame dealers.

Like in Athens, Ohio where I go to school... the dealer has no idea, and loves my truck so he doesnt give 2 ****s I dont have my DPF/CAT on when I bring it in...
