Pulling in 4low 3rd???

Hi if i pull in 4low 3rd will that be fast enough. i drove my truck down the field in 4low 3rd and it only does 25-30 mph seems too slow what is your opinion?? thanks

25-30 mph is plenty of speed, but your not going to hit that with a sled behind you if you did that with nothing behind you....

Sure the truck speed isnt going to hit 30mph but tire speed is whats important here. I would ask some of the guys pulling the 6.4s what there tire speed has been. I would say 08stroker250 is up to par with this subject so if he says its good im sure it is.
