I Am So Tired Of Regen Every 300 Miles......

....Therefore I think its time to pull the trigger on the DPF delete pipe and the tuner. It will either be a Spartan or SCT, yall give me your input and opinions.

Of course I use the truck for work, so it has to be super reliable. I dont neccesarily need high performance, I just need better MPG's and to get rid of the regeneration. What tunes with each should I get? My truck weighs just shy of 9,000lbs. and often tow from a 12 to a 24' enclosed trailer, also some open trailers from 12' to 22'.

Spartan all the way there is nothing better. If you go with the 210 you will just want more. At least I did

Spartan is the most proven tuner on the market. Yes it is expensive, but you get what you pay for with it. Tons of power, great fuel economy, reliable, and the best monitoring and code reading capabilities out there. I don't know why anyone would buy anything other than Spartan at this point in the game

I would agree go with Spartanyou cant go wrong...when I first got my truck it would always go into regenhated it especialy towing 22k+ but since Spartan ...WOW and the power,I prefer the 210 egts stay down compared to the 150 and better mpg but get the 275 for fun

Of all the tunes available from Spartan currently, the 275 tune will provide the best fuel mileage. With the latest revision, guys are seeing torque converter lockup before 50 mph, which not only helps with track times, but it REALLY helps with fuel mileage. The quicker the truck gets into overdrive, the better mileage you will get. As far as EGT's go, the 275 tune is also not bad about high EGT's. Yes it is a race tune, but it is also a great daily driver tune, light weight towing tune, and highway tune for the fuel mileage. The choice is yours, but if you want the best option on your truck, Spartan is the way to go.

Hello guys can I jump in??
I just purchased an 08 F-250 6.4 Xtra cab 4x4. What else will I need besides the spartin? Do I need to do exhaust mods and or intake mods as well? To achieve the performance you are talking about? I only have 300 mile on it and I just filled it for the first time avg. mpg 14.2 not too bad but would love to see the 20+ mpg. Stock height with stock tires.
Thanks Wilseya.
