Spartan tuner / California Emissions ????????

Trying not to beat a dead horse here but is there anyone out there in CALIFORNIA that has deleted the dpf on their trucks? With how strict california is on emissions i am considering the spartan tuner but leaving the dpf on. What kind of mileage gains will i see witht the dpf on? As much as i would love to remove it, i believe the penalties are huge if caught. Any insight out there would be great. My truck 08 f350 4x4 lb 6 in lift 37's job 1.

Im not from Cali, but its my understanding that the Big MPG gains are with the DPF delete, with the DPF on option they are only moderate. I just deleted all mine so i never ran the DPF on tunes. Im sure someone on here has, good luck

what part of so cal are you guys in?? im in the San Fernando Valley. (Los Angeles county for the rest of you guys)

but either way you should be fine, i have a sct with eric's tunes, no dpf, dual 6" stacks that are always smoking on top of having black tail lights, super illegal tint and loud a** nitto mud grapplers. needless to say, my truck gets a lot of attention, but surprisingly not by LAPD, or any other law enforcement for that matter. i have definitely noticed that cops dont pay too much attention to us truck guys around here. however when i had a modded out scion, or my STOCK 07 subaru STi, i was getting pulled over on a pretty regular basis.

long story short, you should be ok. but just make sure you keep your dpf and all that stock crap somewhere safe so when it comes time for us to start having to smog you can just swap out a pipe and pass

With a Spartan 275 tune, you will see city fuel mileage of around 12-15 mpg depending on your driving habits, and on the highway you will see anywhere from 15-20 depending on driving habits. Most guys that dyno the 275 see anywhere from 520-530 horsepower and 1020-1100 foot lbs/tq. And dont ask if I am in California, cause I'm not lol. I am in GA
