Got my S&B cold air, straight pipe, and DashDAQ in the mail yesterday and decided I would go ahead and put on my cold air on while I waited on my tunes...well I did that and have driven about 100 miles since and my check engine light came on and the engine sound real deep now...is this expected and normal or should I be concerned?

It's probably just the intake throwing your code and it will go away once you tune it, the S&B isn't suppose to throw a code but I guess a few do

I just don't know what else it could be. But I think I remember reading that they would before you tune it. Idk..

Ya AFE and most intakes throw a code stock, but S&B is suppose to not do it. But im sure thats what it is so don't worry about it. If your bored go read the codes on your DD and see what pops

You didn't get impatient and replace the DPF with the straight pipe before
getting the tunes, did you? Sounds like you ONLY installed the air intake,
but thought I'd ask.

No. I knew better than to do that. I'm waiting til I get the tunes to put that on so my truck doesn't have to sit for a while and I can't use it.
