Is SCT livewire "traceable" ???

I am wondering if you few guys that run SCT have had issues with the dealers knowing you ran SCT Livewire??? Is it similiar to the spartan in not being seen at dealer level? Does anyone know is the new touch screen will be seen aswell I am really liking the wireless capabilties of it? Thanks in advance Shawn

All tuners are traceable if the dealer wants to dig deep enough. Dont let anybody kid you.

Yea, no one can truly advertise that a tuner is not traceable. Most dealers don't have the equipment to trace it, but someone higher up can come in and check up on a vehicle getting warranty work done and they have the diagnostics tools to dig deeper in the ECM. Just a heads up

my bro n law is a PSD tech and said that Ford cannot find anything that is put into ECM...but, i could not argue about Ford having something more than the average tech does.

No but your the one running your mouth that they are not detectable, nobody else. I also said all tuners are detectable if the dealer wants to dig deep enough. I didn't say anything about Spartan. Your also one of their poster boys that needs to be put on a leash. You are feeding people non sense about things you know nothing about. People see your posts and think you know what your talking about, but in reality you have no idea. You need to stick to reading part numbers and mailing parts.
