That wasn't my intention at all, but I guess you have a little ego problem to overcome. I'll help you later in the post...
My post was for those who do not know, and assume the only traces of tuning would be electronic.
If it weren't for Matt, I would have probably sold this lame stock engine last year, so my intentions are not to bash any tuners or tuning. I couldn't live with this truck without my Spartan. As soon as my Scorpion arrives, Matt's tune goes in.

Now, I know you must be a diesel know-it-all because you probably look in the mirror and see Rudolph Diesel..(insult intended), and you must be in a catagory of godliness and knowledge that nobody can touch, so my post wasn't intended for you, the arrogant.
I hope you burn your $hit to the ground some day with little star patterns burned into the asphalt as a reminder of this...
Believe it or not, and unlike you, the rest of the world logs in to learn from the ground up as we all did at one point. I was hoping to alert some of the unsuspecting to not rely on just the electronic "untracaebility" of a tuner, and that a major warranty job still has to pass by the field rep 80% of the time. That guy has two jobs, but his primary motive is to save FoMoCo money on warranty work. I just had a friend of mine pay almost 14K for a new engine because of traces of homemade bio fuel in the lines...
Thanks for allowing me to pass you by next time I make a purchase, and to recommend just about anyone else other than Cobbs when asked...

If you would like to finish on a better note, I suggest that you start retracting the insults of your own....
I would rather not get ugly here anymore and delete all of this..
I don't believe anything I said would give off the persona that I am a know-it-all. I only refuted some of your statements as others have in this topic. Regarding me burning my **** to the ground, making statements like that wishing bad things on others will only bring yourself grief in the long run. I apologize if me questioning your statements upset you, but when you act like no one on this forum has a clue about the "star pattern" and other dead giveaways that most of us have known about for years you will get reactions like this.

Kids Kids...

George if you would not be so arrogant sounding, maybe you would be better off. How about you explain in detail what you believe to be the case as opposed to just screaming louder the same words.

I get a little aggravated when people like Cobb think he is the only person reading these posts, and that every post is testing or questioning his personal diesel knowledge..
There are others here who do not know, or have not considered this Cobb, and this isn't just your forum...
I was talking to the starter of this thread, not Cobb.
It was about not just banking on the tuner being undectable, but rather the rest of the potential tell tale signs of a tuned engine that a Ford field rep would seize upon if there was an engine warranty claim.
Instantly, Cobb thinks I am talking down to him and others when it wasn't about him. (insert jagoff smiley)

This was suppose to be a simple courtesy blanket statement for those who are not considering the other crumbs left without going into detail that really doesn't matter anyway, instead Cobb was insulted that I didn't include his vast knowledge of star prints..
(again, insert jagoff smiley)
No apologies here, except to myself for even opening my mouth.

Me? I really couldn't care less how anybody else drives their rig. I'm just tossing the info out there....
My business is pretty far away from diesel trucks, and I don't know $hit beyond the common sense part of the equasion, but if my truck roasts today, it's replacement will be here tomorrow and I will expect Ford to see clearly that I was running an incredible & awesome Spartan tune....

George, you have been talking down to Cobbs this entire thread. You even said that they didn't know what to look for. The only arrogance i see here is yours.

What don't i get? I'm understanding everything being said in here. Once again you are being arrogant and talking down to people. Why don't you just go away since you are bringing nothing else useful to this thread.
