Congrats! With the Bully Dog, you will notice more power but you will not gain any in the fuel economy department. As always when you add a tuner while keeping the DPF, you will run the risk of plugging your DPF. As for the Spartan, you should not expect any problems with it. The engine and tranny tuning is superior to anything you will find. Let us know if we can help in any way.

You will notice from my sig I own a 6.0, but you asked for input so here's mine. You are asking for trouble. The one major problem is your warranty, I gather you are like the rest of us and not independently wealthy. The next is you never want to put on tunes without guage's, IMHO you need atleast an EGT guage.

in all honesty(and I dont own a '08 truck) bully dog is CRAP! not heard good things about it. save your money and get the spartan tuning and DPF/DOC delete from Rudy. You will be much happier and much better off. PLus, the spartan tuning comes with a dashdaq, so you dont need guages

Spartan is untraceable so as long as you put the DPF back on and reload the stock tune before any warranty work you will not have any dealership issues!
