Leaky oil pump

This is probably a dumb question or maybe just wishful thinking. Found an oil leak on the truck and it turned out to be a leaky oil pump. It's in the shop now getting repaired. Was just wondering or hoping if this could cause a truck to cut out under extreme acceleration? I have the spartan 275v4 and it cuts out. I asked them to check the fuel pump but I'm not sure if they did.

No, it will not affect the truck to cut out unless the truck was loosing oil pressure, but I am truly unsure if there is any safeguard in the ecm regarding oil pressure.

Oh, sorry for the post hijack here. I just don't know too much about 6.4s I just thought they were better because of the lack of the HPOP. I like my HEUI injection it just leaks a lot.
