Sorry for the side track thought but on the older PSD's does locking the TC help? If so when? Start with it locked or flip it just after?

no i havent. im a drag racer that was begged to sledpull so i did. just asked around, and it worked well..i wanna say i saw about 30mph ..not sure if that was great..but it worked for me.

I have heard that 4 low in 2nd or 3rd gear is the best way to pull. Maybe 4 high is good too? Just build boost on the line in a lower gear and dont let the truck hop or spin

so what im gathering is Dont put it in DRIVE

put it in 2nd gear, 4low and when the RPMS get up there shift it into 3rd, then when they start to pull down jam it back into 2nd..

all this without letting off the throttle i assume?

defiantly dont get into tire hopping. That gets expensive
