turners and heat???

Question,

I live in a very hot climate about 5 months out of the year. I was just wondering how that will affect my dashdaq?

Currently the outside temp is 108 but we can see upwards of 115-120. I was thinking of mounting it on the dash but not sure?

If I do mount it on the dash when I get to work can I unplug it and take it inside with me? Or dose it need to stay plugged into the truck?

Just trying to learn,

Thanks

I wouldn't leave it anywhere it's exposed to direct sunlight, could cause damage. From what I've seen (don't have one yet) you can mount it on the dash and remove when needed.

Hell, after you load the tunes, you can unplug and leave in the house if I understand correctly. At that point, it's just a monitoring tool.
