Slipping

I'm pretty sure I read a topic like this already but I didn't feel like looking for it. My truck is an 08, it's got 7500 miles, it's all stock. The problem has been at slow speeds until yesterday. The slow speed problem was in between first and second gear. I get off the throttle and let it coast (turning from one street to another); then, get back into throttle and BANG! The tranny slips and then engages with quite the jolt. Yesterday though, I took off from a stop light and was very aggressive...the truck went to shift and not only did it slip but it was shuttering.
