Odd thing happened with shifting

I have been looking through all the past posts but haven't found anything directly covering the symptoms I had so I wanted to see what you guys thought. A while ago I was slowing down to get on the freeway and while I was coasting into the right hand turn I gave it gas when my truck was straightening out and the tranny felt like it made a hard slam. I didn't think much of it at the time, thinking it was cold or some freak thing because I have never had any problems before but today it did the same thing and on the same turn. It has only done it these few times and only on a sweeping right hand turn while I'm coasting in then giving it gas. The only thing I have seen is something about a GoGo solenoid but I don't know if mine is having the same problems or if it will fix it.
Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help I appreciate it. I will order one of those solenoids as well and let you know how it goes. I have been wanting to order a Mag Hytech deep pan for my tranny anyways so this will push me more to get it done.

You can also add an additional 1/4-1/2 qt of tranny fluid and a lot of times it will go away. The solenoid is the 100% cure though. The mag hytec deep pan is also a nice upgrade but there is a stipulation. It will take longer for the fluid to get hot which is nice, but it will take longer for it to cool down as well.

Come to find out the clutch and everything else was smoked in it. On a good note it was a factory reman and was still under warrenty. So ford is replacing it free of charge. Got lucky on that end of the deal I guess
