HELP!!! Trans. Feed Line

Yesterday I went and picked up a big load of square hay bails; when I got back I noticed that I was leaking a little fluid under the truck. I moved the trailer into the barn and had a steady stream of trans. fluid from the truck. Thankfully it appeared to have all let go once I was back at the farm and not on the road.

We determined that it is the trans. feed line had a hole on it from rubbing the oil pan. Truck is almost empty of trans. fluid. I am going to call Ford tomorrow and get the line, but is there anything I should know about replacing the line, what to look out for etc? Do I need to bleed the line or just replace the line, refill the trans fluid and good to go?

Thanks for the help!!!

Put line on, fill trans and hope for the best.

Any automatic trans doesn't like being run low on fluid.

I'm thanks. It was only moved about 100 feet backing up a trailer so hopefully it won't be too bad
