Tranny leak

I'm just putting this out there FWIW. We noticed our 550 has acquired a pretty bad leak at the tranny. It is leaking from between the bell housing and backing plate. Time for another trip to the dealer

BTW: less than 15K on the clock

That sucks. At least you have another 21K miles of free warranty.

Well you probably won't beat me. My truck has had a total of about 21 weeks in down time just for the tranny. Last time it was in 7 weeks. Didn't touch it till week 6 and gave it back week 7 still slipping.

Thanks, that's nice to know. I'm still second guessing my decision to go with the auto this time. We always used manuals but the new autos seemed to be the way to go.
