Tranny noise?!

Hey Guys my 6.4 has 58K on it and i plow with it not abusive plowing wait to shift from drive to reverse and so on. Truck has mods listed in sig. A few month back my buddy was doing a one wheel peel in his f150 i got on it a bit to spin tire and show him how its done, i heard a errrrrrrr noise and thought it was my limited slip not locking in and didnt think of it but its happening more and more now and cant tell if its the diff or tranny making it? only happens on slick surfaces when the tires will spin? Any idea what this could be it has me real nervous as im saving for head studs and other things and if the trannys bad this may be time to get rid of the truck......
Thanks Cody

Have you opened the diff yet? Will it make the noise towing anything heavy? Could just be the limited slip going out

If you are having slipping or grinding the damage is done amsoil or any oil will save you for that matter. I would take her in and get her looked at trust me I didnt take my truck to the doctor and the bills keep mounting! Ive dumped $7500 into my truck needlessly because many of the issues were minor but got worse.
