08 F450 - Trans Issue - Need Advice

HI,

A little background: Just bought an 08 F450 fwd crew with 59k miles. I just drove it home last night and noticed the trans not shifting at all into overdrive. At 70mph it was turning around 2800-2900rpm. I shifted to 3rd gear and no change...rpm/motor stayed the same. The ford dealership I bought from is suppose to come get the truck and fix. However, this is a dealership I have never dealt with and they are an hour and half from where I live. Also a clear liquid (greasy) dripping from front of motor. Haven't rolled under yet to look check source. I believe it's pwr steering. I'm getting nervous here. Yes, I did go over the truck before signing.

I traded my 06 F250 crew 6.0 because it was starting to eat coolant. 132K miles and never had the headstud done.

I know and trust a local Ford dealership here in town and thought I should take the truck there before it gets picked up and just pay them to diagnose so I KNOW what is wrong.

SORRY for the long message. Given this info what do you guys think the tranny problem could be (it shifts smooth and excelerates fine in all other gears). At this point I'm not wanting to take the word of a dealership I don't know are suppose to fix on their dime.
