Mini Maxx TC Lock Noise
I will try to explain my problem the best I can... I have had my Mini Maxx for over a year and the other day I switched the transmission tune from the the one that just locks the torque converter in 5th to the one that locks it in 4th and 5th.
After that, I noticed a very faint rumbling noise when I get off the gas and start braking. Through repetition, I have determined that it only makes this noise when I am decelerating in 4th gear with the torque converter locked. The rumbling noise stops right as the 'TC locked' turns off on the Mini Maxx display.
The rumbling noise can barely be heard if I have the radio turned off. Any ideas what this could be?
