4th gear question

I have a 08 f250 hs tuned s1m trans tune. While in 4 th gear when you let off of throttle the engine drops to idle. It does this in all trans tunes I have tried. When you put it in tow/ haul it holds back and doesn't drop to an idle what could this be? How can I fix it?
Thanks for help

Mine does that too (I thought mine was doing it in 5th but I cant say I paid much attention). Then you have to get the revs back up (1600-1700ish) before it accelerates again right? I would also like to hear if this is a problem.

Sounds like the TC isn't locked up.
Idk what lock up tunes are on the particular one, but that's just what it's doing, to me anyway.

I know this is a completely different trans but same idea.
I can lock mine up in second or third, have the OD button on, and once I let off the gas, it will drop to an idle.

Mine does this thing where if I'm on the highway and I'm cruising along if I let off because someone cuts me off it drops rpm then if I go to get back on it some times it's really sluggish and super low rpm I have to mash it for it to drop a gear is that the tc? Sorry for hijacking

Does it do it as soon as you let off the throttle or does it coast for a bit & then the rpm's drop off? When I let off the gas at high way speeds it will stay at higher rpm until 80kph & then drop off to idle rpm but as soon as I hit the pedal it revs right away & it is good.

It holds for a second then drops off when you get back into it seems pretty harsh if you are not easy on it.
