Cooked tranny fluid

Check tranny fluid and found a bunch of "dirt" in my tranny fluid. I took straight to a tranny shop and they said it was not dirt but tranny fluid that got so hot it cooked. Mods below, I'm easy with her, and never towed a trailer with her yet. So they are thinking a restriction in flow so where. I'm hoping this won't be a total rebuild

If anyone following. It was caused by a clog tranny filter. It also missed up two sylinoids. So a complete flush and changing of filter, new parts and 500 bucks later I'm back in business.

Had you even flushed it as part of recommended, regular maintenance?
