trans filter replacement

how hard is it to change the filter on these 08's, I noticed when i was under there, their is a in-line something on the line going into the tranny, is this a filter that needs attention also? I do my 99 every now and again, is t pretty much the same? Just need to know if theres' something i need to keep in mind while replacing it. I did a search came up with nothing
