suncoast tranny problem
while driving on highway i slowed down for a car turning and when i hit the petal tranny made loud bang noise, continued to drive fine and when i stoped at stoplight hit the petal and nothing no gears at all nothing leaking normal temps. anyone have any ideas? tranny has only been in truck for 14 months about 15000 miles fluid was changed after break in period. this sucks!!

Man I really hate tonhear that! I unfortunately don't have any ideas about what could be wrong. Have you called sun coast yet? I'm sure you are well aware of their warranty policy... It would be a pain to pull the tranny and ship it to them to be fixed, but at least the parts would be free. Keep us updated

Well, it hate to tell you this, but I bet you smoked your converter. I did the same thing in my Dodge with my ATS tranny. You held pressure until you stopped, then you couldn't get enough pressure to build up to move again.
