auto to manual swap????

has anyone did a manual swap in an 08? if so how much it cost im tired of working on my auto all the time

Haven't heard of anyone doing it. I would think it'd be close to the way you do it on any other SD.

Been looking at the same thing myself. Spoke with a few folks and did a little figuring. If you use a donor vehicle you can get most of the parts you need, and there are a lot of thing needed.

Start with the T-cases input shafts are not the same from Auto to Manual. 34 spline on the Auto and 32 on the manual.
Need a PCM module and wiring harness
Drive shafts
clutch and master clynder and associated tubing
Flywheel
Pedals and associated wiring for things like CC and interlock switches

and a few more things as well.

Looking at $4-5K plus time to remove the old stuff and uinstall the "new" stuff.

Cab off would be great.

oh wow sound expensive but interesting. at times I'd rather have a manual trans.

I know you don't want to stick with the stock clutch in these whenever you tune them. Brand new out of the box they slip tuned haha
