Transmission Shudders

Hey I was wondering if anyone can help me with this, the problem im having on my 08 f350; when accelerating the tranny shudders and the blow off valve goes off and the truck kind of powers down; does not shift or accelerate further, you have to let go of the accelerator and step on it again. I took it in to the diesel shop, they said clean the air filer (S&B intake). After a few days, same problem started occuring. I was wondering if this is related to the Edge Evolution Tuner I'm running? This doesn't happen when the engine is cold only happens after you've been driving for about 30 mins or more. I'd appreciate some input....thanks

Did you ever figure out what the problem is? I really dont think its anything to do with the tranny unless the shift points got all screwed up with that tuner.

Take the tuner off and try it stock.
What blow off valve? There isn't one.

Hey guys, thanks for the reply. I took the truck to the diesel shop; they diagnosed no tranny problems but found the air intake hoses to be chewed up. Replaced the hoses and so far iv ran the truck in stages 1 thru 4 and no problems yet except some hard shifting at times. Something wierd I've noticed is with the edge tuner, turbo back exhaust, dpf delete and intake kit...I'm getting about 450 -500 kms to a tank. The diesel shop says I should be getting 700-800 with this set up. Any insights as to what the probelm is?, my theory is the edge tuner needs to be replaced and I should try the H&S MiniMaxx....
