oil stain on the front of tranny? what should i do???

hi all, i was changing my oil in my 08 f350 and i noticed that there was some signs of oil having been on the front of the tranny case coming from up top. its not tranny fluid so i wiped it off and am waiting till it dries up outside to see if it comes back. ive never had oil on the ground under my truck and no sign of new oil the front of the tranny yet but i asked a buddy and he said the only place it would come from is the front oil seal? ive got less than 20k kilometers on the truck with very little towing. what do you guys think??

08 250. same problem. no spots on the ground. i also noticed it last oil change. unless it gets worse, i'm not going to worry too much. not thrilled about a possible cab-off repair for a drip that doesn't drip. i just check it when draining water separater.
