noise when putting truck in park

Hey guys, I recently purchased an 08 powerstroke! Been wanting one of these as long as i can remember. I was just wondering if it is normal or what could be causing my truck to make a small clunk when placing it in park. It does not do it going into any other gear and drives, rides, and shifts great. It is not a loud sound and it does not jerk the truck or anything..it just makes a little noise...maybe I am just paranoid?? Kind of understandable after I dropped the dough to finally get a nice diesel pickup!!

Lots of power in these trucks. Just make sure you come to a COMPLETE stop before putting it in park. If you have a tendency to slam it in park, right as you stop it will rock a bit. That is probably the noise you are hearing.
