Spartan Tuned Firm Shifts

Hi guys - I asked the question on the Spartan Forum but thought I would ask here as well.

Once I loaded the 275 tune on my 08 Job 1 truck shifting in all but 1 of the shift points was firm but acceptable. That 1 point was harsh and when I asked about it on the Spartan forum it was suggested that I add 1/2 a quart of Transmission Fluid.

Off to the dealer I went and picked up a quart of Mercon SP. Even though my dipstick was reading full I added the 1/2 quart and went for a 25 mile drive. I could tell improvement in the harsh shift point and the other firm shift ponts as well.

I'm hoping for yet some more improvement so am considering add the remaining 1/2 quart.

My additional question on the Spartan forum is:
Would adding the remaining 1/2 quart cause any issues?

I know if I add too much engine oil I could be doing harm but what about the transmission?

Thanks!

Don't know if adding more fluid will help. Job 1 trucks usually benefit more from the Spartan TCM for 275 and 310 tunes. Traction bars will help also.
