stick a thin screwdriver in the 4 small holes on the side of your radio and push outwards than pull out.

there are no 4 small holes on an '08. You have to remove the entire center portion of the dash.

There's a small notch at the bottom of the black plastic that contains the cigarette lighter. Stick a screwdriver in there, and pop out that little panel. Unplug cigarette lighter, and set aside. There's another notch on the black plastic that contains the auxiliary input. Do the same here. Behind these two panels are two screws. They're either 7mm or 8mm. Unscrew them. The entire rest of the panel is now connected via push in connectors. Gently pry around the outside until the whole thing comes off. Now you should be able to see the 4 screws (same size as those that attach the panel you just removed) that hold the radio on. Unscrew, pull, unplug the 2,3,or 4 plugs at the back, and viola............its out.

You could take it down to the seedy part of town, put a sign on the truck that says,
Free Stereo, You Remove

And go have lunch. Should be out by the time you get back.
