annoying rattle and clicking

(note: i moved this from the exterior forum)hey guys, wanted to know if anyone else has had the same things happen in their 08's. when i accelerate and when cruising on the highway i get this annoying rattle behind the dash right around the cigarette lighter area, sounds like a loose washer or coin in there.
also i have the 60/40 bench seat with the fold down arm rest, recently when i put my elbow down on the flip open compartment lid i get this annoying clicking sound coming from the latch, i cant figure out how to stop it and both of these problems are annoying the hell out of me. before i start taking things apart and pissing myself off anyone have tips or ideas or experience with these problems or how to take the lower center dashboard off, help a brother out.

I get the same loose sounding rattle thing in the dash. Mine seems to be dependant on the RPM when cruising it happens aroud 1500 RPM. The previous post mentioned loose wires. Could you please elaborate where they are.

do you have the lift switches? Trailer breaks system?, rear power window....any option that would be installed on the dash panel, will have the wires pulled up and taped back if not used....

it sounds like a metallic object like a clip or washer. only the cigarette lighter is there as far as wires go.

have someone ride with you, once the rattleing starts, they can feel/listen to try and pin point it.....
