Center Console Help!

Replacing my center flip seat with an OEM center console. There is an airbag or seat belt module mounted on top of the tranny tunnel that does not allow for the console to mount to the new brackets. Can this be moved? How have some of you guys handled this conversion? Thanks

Are you using the proper brackets for the console? Unless they are wrong, bent, or you are not using an '08+ console/bracket setup, there is absolutely no need to relocate the module under the carpet. Trust me, I actually have done this conversion to my truck.

You dont have to move that module. You must have the wrong brackets. My 08 250 has the stock center console and the module is under there. The only problem you should run into is having to cut a hole in the carpet for one of the bolts to go into the stock nut on the bottom of the cab. I switched the interiors from my 08 f250 into my 08 f350 ( one had black leather with the center console one had grey cloth with fold up seat.) and they switch fine.
