All,
Some months ago I promised to build the ultimate box and now Im done.

it can bee seen here. (in full detail too many pics so I just added a link.)
Superduty Box
I could have spent more time talking about it but decided to spend the time developing it.
it is superior to my first box. its Lighter. yields more room. about 30% and is available
covered or uncovered. its accessible from either side of the truck, It can store 2 full size shot guns/rifles or a myriad of small guns. as well as anything else you can fit.
it ships with doors that have nice auto style pulls with catches. (available with key/locks.) No drilling no holes use the existing ones. Also it has more interior room than any comparable box on the market. more room == more stuff.
Even the new Cabelas box does not have the same room. and can store just as many guns.
and as for the Du-ha box... well anyone can throw a tuperware box in the back... (I guess you get what you pay for.)
I would never throw such a piece in my "Superduty"
anyways enough talking go look at it.

you know I really am having a difficult time deciding on a price.
as Im still waiting on a vendor to supply me with boxes to ship the darn things in.
I think Im going to put some of them on ebay and see where the prices go.
this may give me some indication as to what the market will pay. As of now I bet I have somewhere in the 8-10K invested. (crazy eh, who would have thunk it?) I think for Powerstroke.org Im going to offer 2 styles. the unit complete with inner felt. 400.00 . Then as an upholstered unit. I think Ill have to address that (the upholstered unit) on a person by person basis till I get a feel for what is expected. as for the black unit in the pic. (thats covered). thats the one in my personal truck. It even has a hidden compartment for ... perhaps a small hand g?n...

And for ebay.. I think Im going to start an auction / and or put a buy it now for 449.00 and see how it goes for the first set of units... as for the quality of the part each box is completely hand built and assembled (with exception to the vacuum part) by me.
it takes me about 6 hours to build 1 unit.

Am I right in assuming that if I take that metal thing out of under my seats of my '09 this box would fit right in? If so, I am in for one like in the picture.

yes, you are correct. Un bold that 3k lb anchor and then use the same holes and bolts to secure the stoRage unit. I have 2 ready to ship.
1 is plain 400.00 the other is covered. 550.00
I have decided Im going to market them on a dedicated website for
499 and 699. until then Im only going to make them available thru powerstroke.org. for the lower price. These units require a oversized box
due to their measurements not weight. they only weigh 8 or 13 lbs depending on the style. thanks for the inquiry!

Right now Im not really set up to accept anything Since I spent all my time
working on this thing and no time spent in marketing that being said.

I do have a paypal account. and can do it that way until I get a website setup.
or. I suppose you could send a cashiers check/wire.

I did some recon on the shipping aspect. Im in Central florida. If I shipped the largest unit to seattle Wa. it would cost $40-$50 ups or fed-ex. USPS will not ship this due to its oversize. hopefully/perhaps less if you are closer.
