I've got the same issue going on with my '10. It happens every thursday when i get ready to drive home from work (4 hours) and the interior dome light along with the white light by the rear upper brake stay on.

Did you every find a solution?

Try spraying the door latch with WD40. Open and close the doors several times. Worked on the older models with an issue like this one.
