Jump Seat Disassembly

Anyone know how to or have a diagram of the center jump seat so that I can disassemble it? The part I am looking to disassemble is the area that stands up as the back or you fold it down for the cup holders/storage area/arm rest. If I push on the front drivers side corner, the rear kind of comes up and it feels like it is came apart on the inside or something. Thanks

Mine was broken like that. Even though mines an 02 it's probably a similar problem. Do u have a pic? I'll have to try to remember how I did mine. I know I ended up having to put a screw from inside the console down into the metal support behind the cushion. It's great now. I also ran a 12v outlet in there at the same time.

Design flaw, its broken... i took it to ford and they couldn't fix it so they gave me a whole new center seat under warranty.....i now keep a jar of planters peanuts under the front left corner of it to support that corner so it doesn't wear out as quick. works pretty good, the jar wedges in nice and tight.... and you have peanuts when you are hungry....win win
lx5spd and Six0~Stroker like this.
