Bench Seat To Bucket Swap Question For ZF6

I am considering purchasing an '08 ZF6, however the front bench seat is very unappealing and if I bought it, would eventually swap in bucket seats.

My question is, are the seat mounts the same in the bench seat for the buckets? In other words, will bucket seats from another 6.4 mount right in?

Also, I realize the center consoles are really hard to come by in this year range but assuming I found one sometime in the future, would that be able to be mounted up without too much trouble as well?

Thanks!

both the jump seat and centre console mount the same so you can go buckets for now and add console at any time

I haven't seen a 6.4 with the manual tranny so I'm sure exactly where shifter is in the floor. To put a console in, I think you would have to modify the console or the brackets to mount it further away from the dash as it sits rather close. I could be wrong. I'm sure the jumpseat would work well though

might have to add an adapter on the bottom for the screws to move the console back

You guys are the best!! Thanks so much for your time and responses, awesome.

My plan would be to replace the bench seat with a set of nice black leather Corbeau seats and the center console to go with. I'll be there's a good chance that I would need those adapters to prevent the stick from coming into contact with it.

Do you know by chance where they can be purchased or the specs on them? Thanks again.

no specs on them they were fabbed up

you could probably take a measurement to a machine shop and they could make them for you pretty quick

There is a thread somewhere on here where a guy did the console swap and had to move it back because the shifter connected with the left drink holder. I too am looking to do this swap as I have the ZF6 with jumpseat. Let me know when you do the Corbeau seat install. I'd like to see that one!
