You can use the factory antenna on an aftermarket Sirius tuner, but you can't use the OEM tuner. Both Pioneer and Kenwood have Sirius tuners that are controlled by the touchscreen on the radio. On most cars, you need a custom adapter made. They're about 50 bucks I believe. There's a guy in the Acurazine forum that does it.

In looking at the factory tuner that came out of my truck,I think the Sirius is built into the ford head unit, when I picked my truck up from the stereo shop after the install of the stuff I took out of my 06 there was no seperate sat unit.

You want a good Gps? use a laptop and Delorme gps reciever and software for $100.
Got mine off of Ebay for $60.

Hell you can buy a new Compaq for $450 if you don't have a laptop. $510 for gps with a 15.4 inch screen and a portable computer to boot. Not too bad IMO

I had that for awhile in my obs when i went on trips and to plot out our clubs hunting areas and stand locations i just dont like clutter and it always seemed to get in the way! It did work really good for what i needed it for but now i just want a clean in dash that does all i need and utalizes existing space!

I say Kenwood. I don't think you can get a better Nav system than the Garmin that comes with the Kenwood. There is no computer program that is better than the Garmin. For a computer to even be feasible you need to have it stored away with a touch screen in my opinion. Plus once you get one you'll want the bluetooth phone and maybe ipod hooked up, etc. Lot of options.

Yes, Sirius and XM available. I put the Sirius module on the Sat port because the Nav has a usb port for my XM music, traffic, weather, etc. with the interface handled in the nav screens.

Anyone using the DNX-8120 with an IPhone? I'm upgrading from my AVIC-D3 to something that will work with my IPhone. How are the IPod controls? Also...what kind of harddrive does it use for music and video storage?
