Rear under seat storage

Am wondering if anyone has removed the useless rear under seat rack and replaced it with a storage box unit ? If any one has done this chould you tell what product you used and how well it mounts ? Thanks in advance Shawn

im goin to do that shortly. cabela's has a storage bin that custom fits to a specific vehicle. My uncle has it and it isnt noticable, fits very well.

I took the rack out and have been looking for one also. I'll look at Cabela's.

I took the rack out about a year ago. So far I haven't found anything. I have just been storing stuff under there and it mostly stays put (trauma bag, glove boxes, uniform, etc). I am eventually going to try to make something if I don't find something.

Definitely post if you locate anything!

Too funny! I had just found the same one

Its kinda pricey and the pic makes it look like it doesnt go all the way to the front of the seat. I think I may end up making something out of wood and carpeting it to match the truck.

it goes in level with the seat. my uncle has it. i would rather make my own also. what are the under seat racks for anyways?

I believe the rack is just to give you a nice flat storage place, maybe keep tools and such off of the carpet?
