How Do I Remove The Wood Trim ?

Hey I think I can do the dash but how do I get the wood trim pieces to pop off the doors? I want to get rid of it and put the plastic pieces off of an FX4 back in their places. I hate woodtrim. Where would be a good place to buy the factory dash trim piece and the four pieces for the doors?

The doors are easy, they just pop out, just gotta use a little force, but not too much......

The dash I think is the hardest, your going to have to remove the small ask tray and AUX port to get to the screws behind them before you start pullin on the dash.....

As for where you can get replacement pieces, I not too sure, you can try some of our vendors, I ended up painting mine. I hate wood grain, but I have always like the wood on the Lincoln Blackwood, so thats what I did

you can go to the dealership or you can do what I am going to do.... scuff them and paint them.... Duplicolor sells a dash kit specifically for this... you sand the parts and then wipe them off with alcohol and the spray them, let them dry, and clear coat it.... otherwise you can do an online search for overlays

Are the window switches mounted in the door panel itself or are they attached to the wood trim panel that I am removing?

There are "clipped" into the panels you are removing, same with the dash

I agree. I want to swap mine out for the black Harley trim. The FX4 trim won't work since I have the dual climate control so the dash piece is different.
