If you look at the dash piece for the FX4 it's different than our Lariats because the FX4 has the knobs. The Harley trim is gloss black and will fit perfect since it's the same setup. I thought about painting mine gloss black but don't trust that I could get it to look perfect so I was just going to get the Harley trim.

Ya, piss on painting it. You know from people touching the door panels to use the buttons or your hand rubbing against the dash to tune the radio volume knob will eventually wear paint off. I'm just gonna spring for the harley trim and sell the wood trim on ebay. There is someone who will buy it.

Ha Ha. I'm glad someone finally said it. Every girl my age that gets in my truck is like "do you like this wood trim" and I reply "no I think it looks like an 80 year old man's truck". Then they usually reply, "Oh I kinda of thought that too".

Im trying to work with a fabrication company down here in FL while in leave to redo the entire inside of the truck all black and blue to match the outsides. Thinking Katskinz seats, new carpet, fiberglass headliner with speakers installed in them, if they do it ill take lots of pictures of clip points and progress.

I want to take the main part of my dash, the two side pieces that go up and have the vents and the light switch in them, and then the piece of the doors where the window switches are and having them all painted gloss black like the harley edition. I would just buy the harley stuff but my truck is a regular cab (so the door pieces won't work) and its an XLT (so I don't have climate control) can anyone tell me the best way to have these pieces painted? I think it'd look pretty sweet and help liven up the interior.

Hi
I too have a Larirat with the wood grain and don't really like the look of it. When I was in the process of buying the truck I priced out the Harley dash that would fit the automatic temp control @ $400.00. I have a four door so I would need the 4 door peices and my dealer said that I would have to buy the whole door panel @ $700.00. Has any-one got a price from a dealer on the door peices? Thanks Kevin.
