My headliner fabric glue is failing and the fabric is starting to droop down. anyone had this problem or any luck with glueing it back up?

Take your truck to the dealer.
1:Their is no glue holding your headliner up.
its adhered using a process called "Flame Bonding" AKA" "USES NO GLUE"
so if its falling 1 of 2 things come to mind.
1: its Faulty. and should be REPLACED not repaired
2: it was tampered with before you got the truck perhaps the headliner got damaged or even a pen mark. then the dealer sent it out to be re covered,
who knows have could have happened.
ether way. just remember "REPLACED" not "REPAIRED"
good luck to you!

BTW is this a 08? if so take my advice above.
IF its a 99' then
1: wrong forum to post in...
2: time for a new headliner. most headliners last about 5-9 years. 08-99 = 8-9 years.
so....
Strip the old material off the headliner panel down to the PANEL.(remove all the foam)
Then. using "CONTACT CEMENT" not some crappy out of the can glue.(you will regret using)
coat both sides the headliner panel and the new headliner materal let dry 5-15 mins. then press together
trim the edges and re-install.
the fabric can be had from any upholstery supply house. its about $8.00 for 1 yard (4 door needs 3 yards)
again good luck and
