Climate control

In order for the heat to blow hot must have it set on 90. To get cold air the ac must be set on 60. Nothing in between seems to change the temperature at all. Anyone ever experience this or have an idea where to check first? I thought I'd just replace the control panel but a buddy had this happen on his duramax and it was something under the dash instead. Any help is appreciated.

My dad had a similar issue with his truck. Turned out to be the blend door. Work was done under warranty so I can comment on cost.
