**Door Speaker Upgrade**

Guys, looking for a better speaker upgrade for my 2008 CC. I am reading about amps and other needs, i am running factory head unit and don't see a reason to swap it out. Just want to get some better sound when I am rolling. Also, please let me know what sizes the doors take. Thanks!

did you want to do coaxials or components? you can get very efficient components that will sound incredible on low power.

if you are just looking at drop-in replacements which are 6x8's look at some Infinity 682.9CF

Infinity 682.9cf 6" x 8" 2-way Kappa Series Speakers

Alpine SPR-68
Alpine SPR-68 (SPR68) 6" x 8" 2-Way Type-R Coaxial Car Speakers

now.. i personally run these in my wifes expedition, and while they sound incredible, they do not have a lot of low end bass, which is fine for us, since she is running a full system including components, amps, and subs.

Massive Audio VX68
Massive Audio VX 68 (VX68) Full Range Car Speakers at Onlinecarstereo.com

(she has the Massive Audio components too)

honestly I would look into a set of efficient Components that don't require a lot of power to use on your front doors, and a st of coaxial's in the back. When used in conjunction with a sub and an amp, you will have a phenomenal sounding, staged setup that will be a delight to your ears. my wife's setup was less than $1000 total for Headunit (Kenwood Excelon) the components, coaxials, sub and amp, and is setup for sound quality, and it literally is like sitting in a studio

Or JL Audio...I'm running the C3's in my front doors only and have a 4 chan 400w JL amp bridged to the two speakers. Factory head unit still in too. Sounds awesome.

I have JL c2-570x speakers all around, they sound amazing compared to the stock ones. I got mine off Ebay for about $100 a pair.
