Messed up seat

I have an 08 reg. cab with a bench seat. The bench seat has a flip out cup holder that has been messed up since I bought it. when you rest your arm on it it like breaks then its floppin around then to put it back up you have beat the s**t out of it to put it back up. Any one else have this problem.
