rear view mirror shaky????

just a quick question here. I just installed a backup camera with a monitor in the rearview mirror, its the kind that mounts over your factory mirror. is there a way for my a tighten up the factory mirror to keep it from shaking while driving? i guess the extra weight is just a little too much.

I dunno on the 6.4s but on every other rearview mirrorthat I can think of) theres a allen head set screw that will need to be tightened down to keep it from shakin and stuff.

thanks for the reply, i thought that screw was to take in on and off didn't know you can adjust. i'll give it a try

What I've always done, is installed some weather stripping between the factory mirror and the aftermarket one. Then what I did was zip tied the aftermarket mirror to the factory mirror and pull it snug. The mirror I had had four slots to slip little zip ties threw and you could not see them unless you looked behind the mirror. Cut all the of the shaking out.
