never mind, the 4 wires under the hood are also blunt cut under the dash so you do not have to run your own wire. Great deal on fords part.

Good lord, I started out reading this thread thinking I was going to have to run wires eventually through the firewall and that didnt make any since. I guess I always figured there was a place under the hood to splice in, thanks for answering that question I haven't figured out for myself yet.

I wish I read this about five hours ago. I wasn't smart enough to check out the other wires. I had a hell of a time getting through the fire wall.

I could not get any power through the wires under the hood. I have a pair of back-up lights hooked up with the wires under the dash though. They work just fine. I looked for any missing fuses for the wires under the hood but can't seem to find anything. Any ideas for getting power to the wires under the hood?

The wires under the hood are blunt cut on both ends. One end is under the hood, the other is under the dash. They are just "pass through" wires already pre ran through your firewall for conveinance.
