it is a lariat so it has the digital dual climate control, and when I turn on the a/c it is cold on driver side 2 vents, and hot on the passenger side 2 vents, any ideas ? on where to start looking or what to fix?

Do a search and I think this is a problem that you can fix yourself. I have read a few posts about fixing the blender issue but it does not sound like a fun fix.

I have an '09 Lariat and have the same dual climate control issue you have. If you push the "DUAL" button, (the one that allows the passenger to adjust their sides heat/AC temp,) it will blow cold on that side. it's not a complete fix-as it would be nice to have the AC function like it should- but it's a short term solution. hope that helps.

I have a 2008 that is still under warranty. Had same issue. Brought it in and both blender door actuators were bad. It was replaced under warranty, so I can't help you with what the cost might had been.
